SkillsFuture Singaporeは11月22日、シンガポール経済全体で必要とされるスキルについての報告書「Skills Demand forthe Future Economy Report」を発表した。
報告書によると、シンガポールでは過去4年間に、グリーン分野、デジタル分野、ヘルスケア分野におけるスキル保持者の需要が急増していることが明らかになった。
なかでも環境にやさしいグリーン経済への移行にともない、グリーン分野のスキルが高く求められており、関連施設管理に関するスキルの需要は23倍に、持続可能な投資管理に関する需要は15.5倍に増加した。
デジタル分野では、ソフトウェアテストやUX（ユーザー・エクスペリエンス）デザインなどのスキルに対する需要がこの4年間で2倍または2倍近くに増加した。また、ヘルスケア分野では、専門的な相談や家族の関わり方などアドバイスできるスキル保持者の需要も伸びた。
同報告書では主要分野におけるスキルを特定し、シンガポール国内の求人数を集計し、2018年と2022年の数字を比較することで需要を算出。各スキルの需要増加率や、そのスキルを使用する職種、習得場所についても詳しく解説している。
SkillsFuture Singaporeはシンガポール教育相（Ministry of Education:MOE）傘下にあり、この報告書はSands Expo andConvention Centreで開催されたSkillsFuture Fellowships and Employer Awardsで、チャン・チュンシン教育相によって発表されました。
チャン教育相によると、この報告書は経済成長の機会を示し、関連するトレーニングプログラムや資金援助を提供していくことを目的としている。
